Some of the benefits of CONFOTUR include income tax exemption for a specified period, usually up to 15 years, exemption from real estate transfer tax, exemption from asset tax, among other tax and customs incentives. These benefits are intended to make investment in tourism projects more attractive and profitable for investors. 

 

Ocoa Bay is a bay on the Caribbean Sea coast of the Dominican Republic. The bay is located on the southern coast of the island of Hispaniola, administratively in the province of Azua in the Valdesia subregion.
